And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! The LORD your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you; he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.
This passage blew me away this past Sunday. It really went against what I thought about prayer. But it really explains humility in prayer, like submitting yourself before Him. Actually one of the questers posted a great little skit that I'll post the link to, from the skit guys.
Matthew 6:5-15 5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. 9 “This, then, is how you should pray:
“‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation,[a] but deliver us from the evil one.[b]’
14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Today has been a weird day. With midterms, projects, and anticipated busy-ness in the near future, I just been tired and frustrated. I miss people, I tend to internalize everything, and I just wanted someone to talk to too about life, but people were busy. At Bible study we "randomly" chose Psalm 13 to look at (and it really was random!) and it seemed to be written straight to me! Especially vs 2,5-6:
2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? 5 But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.6 I will sing to the LORD, for he has been good to me.
Remember Isaiah 43 from the summer?
