Prayer Requests

Comment here if you have any prayer requests that you want to share with the rest of the staff. Remember how often during the summer we prayed for each other. Prayer is powerful.

  1. My Uncle was very recently diagnosed with a brain tumour. Most recent news is that doctors are tracking it and treating it, but it's not removable as of yet. His name's Ken, please keep him in your prayers. <3

  2. Throughout university my friends and I were praying for another friends father to become a Christian. Recently he has started going to church and he went on a missions trip and is beginning to come to know who Jesus is! Praise God! Unfortunetly, his daughter (my friend) has been straying from God. She recently has moved in with her boyfriend and is currently "seeking other options than Christianity". Please pray for this family!

  3. Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

    Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
    Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
    where there is injury,pardon;
    where there is doubt, faith;
    where there is despair, hope;
    where there is darkness, light;
    and where there is sadness, joy.

    O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
    to be consoled as to console;
    to be understood as to understand;
    to be loved as to love.
    For it is in giving that we receive;
    it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
    and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen

  4. A Prayer of Confession

    Luke 18:9-14

    To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else, Jesus told this parable: Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: God, I thank you that I am not like other men—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.

    But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

    I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

    Daniel 9:4-6
    Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 5 we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws. 6 We have not listened to your word

    Psalm 51:1-4, 10-12

    Have mercy on me, O God,
    according to your unfailing love;
    according to your great compassion
    blot out my transgressions.

    Wash away all my iniquity
    and cleanse me from my sin.

    For I know my transgressions,
    and my sin is always before me.
    Against you, you only, have I sinned
    and done what is evil in your sight,

    Create in me a pure heart, O God,
    and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
    Do not cast me from your presence
    or take your Holy Spirit from me.
    Restore to me the joy of your salvation
    and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

    Psalm 32:1-5

    Blessed is he
    whose transgressions are forgiven,
    whose sins are covered.
    Blessed is the man
    whose sin the LORD does not count against him
    and in whose spirit is no deceit.

    When I kept silent,
    my bones wasted away
    through my groaning all day long.

    For day and night
    your hand was heavy upon me;
    my strength was sapped
    as in the heat of summer.

    Then I acknowledged my sin to you
    and did not cover up my iniquity.
    I said, “I will confess
    my transgressions to the LORD”—
    and you forgave
    the guilt of my sin.

    Daniel 9:9

    The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him;

    Psalm 32:6-7

    Therefore let everyone who is godly pray to you
    while you may be found;
    surely when the mighty waters rise,
    they will not reach him.
    You are my hiding place;
    you will protect me from trouble
    and surround me with songs of deliverance.

    Daniel 9:16a, 17-19

    Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, turn away your anger and your wrath from us.

    Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servants. For your sake, Lord, look with favor on your people. 18Give ear, our God, and hear; open your eyes and see the hurt of your people. We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy. 19 Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act! For your sake, my God, do not delay

    Psalm 32:11

    Rejoice in the LORD and be glad, you righteous;
    sing, all you who are upright in heart!

    Isaiah 65:24

    Before they call I will answer;
    while they are still speaking I will hear

    Daniel 9:23
    As soon as you began to pray, an answer was given

    Close
    Thank you Jesus that you are eager to forgive us.

  5. Hey everyone,
    I'm wondering if you could pray for me... The Christmas concert for school is coming up and it has been a lot of work so far and I know that there is still a lot of work to come! Please pray that things fall into place and that I stay healthy! I sometimes get really sick when I'm stressed.
    Thanks!

  6. Hey Brother and Sisters in Christ. My Oma just got diagnosed with cancer. It is pretty agressive. So that through this all that God's will is done, and that whatever happens that the whole family will accepted and love God even more.
