  1. Bram Blaak sent this out today. I thought it was powerful so I posted it here.

Louie Giglio, in his speaking about Ephesians 1:1-14, notes that there are ten things that we have become in Christ, through faith. They are worthwhile noting on this dreary Monday morning as life gets back on track. He encourages Christians to not only know the passage, but to preach to yourself every morning. Here they are:

    "I am somebody - in Christ I am a saint" Ephesians 1:1

"I am Blessed and I have all I need in Christ" Colossians 2:9

    "I am chosen by God" 1Peter 2:9

"I am holy and blameless" Romans 3:23-26, Romans 8:1

"I am loved son/daughter of God" Romans 8:15-17

    "I am trophy of God’s grace" 1 Corinthians 15:1-11

"I am redeemed and forgiven" Is 53:4-6

"I have the Holy ‘spirit in me" Ephesians 1:13-14

    "I am God’s possession" 1 Peter 2:9

Think about these things daily. Remember them, memorize them, learn the texts, and then live by these principles that God is so eager for us to know.

  2. I had an amazing experience on Sunday. I was part of the Anchor youth retreat that happened at Countryside camp this past weekend, which was fantastic! I was exhausted by the time the weekend was over, however still decided to go to CITB that evening at Redeemer. Am I ever glad that I did! They did a skit similar to the one that we did every week for Revival. They did it to the song "Everything' by Lifehouse. This was neat for me because a) I love that song b) I RA'd the girl who played the girl who was lost. She did great. I really felt God moving within me during this skit and everything felt so fresh all over. God died for ME. He waits for me all the time. When I get busy he stays and tries to help me with my burdens, even when I don't let Him.
Shortly after, they sang the song "How Great Thou Art". Wow. I have never been so moved in singing a song! One moment I was singing, the next I was so overcome with what Christ had done for me I didn't even know what emotion to express.... and best news yet - he's coming back!

    When Christ shall come,
    With shouts of acclamation,
    And take me home,
What joy shall fill my heart!
    Then I shall bow
    In humble adoration
    And there proclaim,
"My God, how great Thou art!"

It's hard to explain, but just try looking at what Christ did for you through new eyes.
    He loves you... that much.
